As a cosmetology student, joining the Tight Curl Theory while in school has been very enlightening & helpful. I’m applying what I have learned in this course along with what I’m learning in school. It has made it that much easier. In school, we don’t focus on the business of cosmetology but CIK has given me tools to set me on the right path. I can honestly say, by the time I graduate I will have my systems, website, alternative revenue, etc in place. This Mastermind Course is well worth it

The Cut It Kinky training has been an invaluable tool for my business & gave me so much insight on how to really work with tight curls by actual pros who do this day in, day out. I have never found any tight curl education that has addressed my learning needs prior to this course. I am still grateful to be able to continually learn from these 2 wonderful women. They share their knowledge & skills happily.

I was excited to travel to Chicago from Australia in 2019 to attend training & do not regret it at all. The cost for me has been reaped back not only in earnings but learning about the cultural aspects of tight curls.

I am so grateful to the girls from Cut It Kinky for the course. It is available online 24/7 for us to be able to access when we need information, videos, help etc. Wow, it is just a mind blowing course & I am really happy to be able to take part.

“Having been in this industry for 30 years, I’ve taken many different advanced trainings and I always wondered why there was no instruction on how to style, cut and maintain natural tight curly hair. Other mainstream companies claimed that they offered training for tight curls but what was shown was a lack there of even understanding tight curly hair.

My cousin, whose Aeleise’s client recommended that I look into CIK. It took me awhile to research but when I finally did I knew that this was training I needed and would be well worth the investment. Not only do you walk away with learning how to cut and style naturally tight curls, you also get the knowledge on how to properly market and run your business. Being apart of the CIK community has been one of the best things I ever did for my business hands down!”

“In an industry where black girls are often misrepresented and the textured hair stylist lacks the education needed to serve her clients adequately; Tight Curl Theory steps in and equips the licensed professional with the necessary tools and confidence to not only service tight curls, but how to properly run all business channels in a clear and efficient way.

I’m only five years in and my business operates as if I’ve been in the game longer. The education is absolutely amazing and the mentorship/network is the icing on the cake. I feel like I’m constantly drinking from a fire hydrant. Operating in excellence is a breeze when you’ve been properly equipped. It’s been a game changer for sure for me.”

“As a stylist and curl specialist, I wanted to be able to service all of the curls who sit in my chair. But, as a person with the silkiest, loosest, natural s’waves possible, based on appearance alone, I knew I wasn’t the first choice for black women to partner with for their natural hair. I didn’t want just another class, I wanted to PARTNER with a brand who had a finger on the pulse of the tight curl market, the culture and the lifestyle. . .

Through Cut It Kinky, I have the knowledge and confidence I need to provide the best service and support ALL women. Through the stylist community I’ve made connections and friends I didn’t have before. It’s like a supportive family AND intensive training program. And—it’s changed my entire game for ALL curls…for the better.”
