DISRUPT Alumni Certification - PTC June 2025
In 2024 Technically Intuitive was the first workshop in The DISRUPT Certification Series. Coming in 2025 we will present The DISRUPT Certification as a single workshop.
DISRUPT is a five day hair cutting & styling intensive redefining the future of natural hair and tight curl artistry by equipping stylists with the rigorous technical education and specialized business support they need to achieve mastery and profitability in the salon industry.
In the first two days you will deconstruct everything you learned about haircutting. Instead of learning step by step “haircuts”, we will be learning the how, when, and why behind hair cutting for all hair. We get hands deep in The Cut it Kinky Decision Matrix, Congruence Cutting, and The Curl Rehab Process to master cutting and styling tight curls.
On day 3 practice makes progress towards skill mastery when students dive into the live model sessions hands and minds first. We are building the kinesthetic muscle memory to execute styling & cuts on real life tight curls along with the cultural competence to execute empathetic and enlightening consultations to get to the bottom of what our clients really want.
On days 4 & 5 we discover why DISRUPT is about more than testing to see if you have grasped what we teach. This session is to guide your artistry to its next level to continue to astound the clients that sit in your chair. Our goal is to teach cutting in a way that it transcends a brand name or curl pattern so that it becomes a personal expression of artistry. We provide the framework within which to explore and investigate your own creativity, aesthetic, and reasons for creating.
This DISRUPT Certification will be held on June 23rd - 27th, 2025 at our headquarters in Peachtree City, GA (about 25min south of the Atlanta airport).
